Stacy Baumann, DVM
Dr. Stacy Baumann was born in Massachusetts and moved to California when she was 10 years old. From an early age, she loved all animals and wanted to be around them as much as possible. Dr. Baumann grew up with many cats, birds, rabbits, rodents and her beloved first dog Sundae. As a pre-teen, she was active in 4H where she showed both rabbits and dogs.
Dr. Baumann attended UCLA and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She continued her studies at UC Davis where she obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1999. Upon graduation from vet school, Dr. Baumann returned to Southern California and practiced in Irvine for 19 years. For 14 of those years, she co-owned a veterinary hospital. Since selling her share of her practice, Dr. Baumann has continued to work part-time.
Dr. Baumann’s special interests include internal medicine, dermatology, and preventive medicine. She is still fascinated by the human-animal bond and cannot imagine life without pets!
Dr. Baumann lives in San Clemente with her husband, Khanh, her son Kai, and her daughter Kayla. She has a pony, a dog, 2 cats, and a guinea pig. When she’s not working, Dr. Baumann loves riding her pony, jazzercising, watching football (Go Bruins!!), mountain bike riding and traveling all over the world.
