Cat Wellness Package
Most adult cats can be given vaccine boosters every 3 years. It is considered wise to not vaccinate for all diseases on the same day. An outdoor cat that is vaccinated for FVRCP, FeLV, and Rabies, will receive each vaccine in sequence on a yearly basis (ie. 2012 FVRCP, 2013 FeLV, and 2014 Rabies), along with their annual exam. We can adjust the sequence of vaccines dependent on the individual cats’ vaccine history.
Aging Cat
Aging cats tend to have more health problems and an annual examination, blood pressure testing, and blood and urine screening is strongly encouraged. Most older cats are brought to us sick and losing weight or after they have turned critical. Wellness exams help to identify problems before they strike out and cause serious symptoms. If you want to be sure that your aging feline is in tip-top shape, we advocate that you take advantage of the savings and have this done every year or two.
Indoor - Outdoor
Indoor cats are vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP (feline distemper and upper respiratory viruses). Outdoor cats need more protection against feline leukemia viruses.
